Easton, PA – A word of advice… your GPS isn’t always right. On the other side of the state in Easton, PA, police say one driver’s global positioning system caused him to drive into a river over the weekend.

The man’s GPS gave him directions to drive along a bicycle path, which led to the man rolling into the river after he tried to get off of the narrow pathway.

Officers say the driver was hurt, but he was issued several traffic citations.

Police say that you should always use your good judgment and obey all traffic laws, even if your GPS suggests otherwise.
