DuBois, PA – It’s a difficult subject to talk about, but families are hoping to shine a light on suicide this weekend.

The 8th Annual Walk for Suicide Prevention and Awareness will be this Sunday in the DuBois City Park.

Mary Brown, the Clearfield/Jefferson Community Connections director, says it’s meant to provide support and encouragement to anyone who has been touched by suicide.

Registration begins on Sunday at 1, and the walk begins at 2. There is no cost to attend, but you can make a donation to help support ongoing resources in our area.
