Bellefonte, PA – Penn State has filed paperwork indicating it may sue the charity founded by ex-assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky.

Sandusky’s arrest for child molestation in 2011 rocked the university and destroyed the charity.

The Second Mile was founded by Sandusky in 1977 to provide help for at-risk children and underprivileged youth in Pennsylvania and support for their parents.

The charity has been dissolved and its assets are in the hands of the state attorney general’s office.
