Houston, TX – Let’s remember all of the people who continue to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. For the next weeks, we’ll be checking in with Gene Grzeda, a local Red Cross volunteer in Texas.

Gene Grzeda is a volunteer with our Western Pennsylvania Red Cross. We checked in with him as he headed to Houston and the surrounding areas, where he’s delivering supplies.

We’ll continue to check in with Gene for the next couple of weeks in Texas.

If you want to help, why not consider donating to Diapers From DuBois? Diapers are one of the most needed products.

Please drop off a donation of baby or adult diapers or wipes at our studios at 12 West Long Avenue any business day. Monetary donations can be made at the DuBois Chamber of Commerce.

The most needed donations:

  • Baby diapers, especially sizes 4, 5 and 6
  • Adult diapers, especially sizes medium, large and extra-large
  • Baby wipes

If you can’t make it to our office, you can drop off donations at Greg Cranmer’s State Farm office, the DuBois YMCA, Studio 55, Lakeview Lodge in Treasure Lake, Kookie Creations in the DuBois Mall or Winery at Wilcox in the DuBois Mall.

You can also make a monetary donation at the DuBois Chamber of Commerce to help ship the diapers.

There has been an amazing response so far, and we can’t wait to see even more diapers come in!
