Multiples charges have been dropped against the 16 former Beta Theta Pi brothers accused in the death of Penn State student Timothy Piazza. All involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, and simple assault charges have been dropped. Some fraternity members will stay likely face lesser charges and will still have to go to trial. Four of the members had everything dismissed.

The prosecution says they will be refiling for involuntary manslaughter charges.
