Las Vegas, NV – A former Venango County man was arrested in Las Vegas after he allegedly fatally stabbed another man while arguing over vodka.
39-year-old Aaron Park, formerly of the Franklin and Oil City area, is accused of stabbing and killing a man on July 21.
The victim, Ronald Anderson, was attacked near a “hangout” for homeless people in Las Vegas and later died at a hospital. All of the people involved in the argument appear to be homeless.
Park told investigators that the argument began when Anderson tried to get him to give up some of the vodka that Park and his friends were drinking.
Park remains lodged in the Clark County Detention Center on one count of murder with a deadly weapon. He was denied bail, and a preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 20.
