Bell Township, PA – Three people have minor injuries after a rear-end accident which led one vehicle to crash into a tree.

19-year-old Jacob Kunselman of Punxsutawney was driving behind a car driven by an unnamed 16-year-old Punxsutawney girl.

When the girl slowed down on Route 36 in Bell Township, police say Kunselman was driving too fast and couldn’t slow down in time. He ended hitting the back of her Volkswagon.

Although the girl’s vehicle stayed on the roadway, Kunselman’s car ran into a tree by the edge of the road.

Kunselman had an arm injury. The unnamed girl’s passenger, 27-year-old Abigail Mosier of Punxsutawney had a suspected concussion.

All three were taken to Punxsutawney Hospital for minor injuries.

Kunselman is being cited for following too closely.
