Perry Township, PA – One man is facing charges after allegedly firing a handgun near five other people during an argument early yesterday morning in Jefferson County.
Punxsutawney State Police were called out around 2:45 Sunday morning to a home in Perry Township for a domestic dispute.
A known but unnamed 50-year-old Valier man was arguing with his wife. When a bystander attempted to break up the fight, the Valier man went into his house and returned with a semi-automatic 9mm handgun.
He allegedly fired two rounds into the ground near the victims, who are listed as a 57-year-old Brookville man, a 54-year-old Punxsutawney woman, a 35-year-old Rochester Mills woman, a 45-year-old Valier woman, and a 30-year-old Rochester Mills man.
The unnamed man was taken in custody for reckless endangering, simple assault, and other related charges.
