DuBois, PA – At the Free Medical Clinic of DuBois, the phrase “I can’t afford to go to the doctor” is never an option.

The Free Medical Clinic of DuBois, located on West Long Avenue, provides free health services and free pharmaceuticals to people who are eligible in Clearfield, Jefferson and Elk Counties.

For more information, visit duboisfreeclinic.org.

Dominic Varacallo is the executive director of the clinic. He says, even if you might not end up being eligible to receive care at the Free Medical Clinic of DuBois, the employees will help you find options.

They do not prescribe any narcotics at the clinic. The clinic can provide check-ups, ongoing treatment for illnesses like diabetes or asthma, eye exams, prevention care, and more.

The people at the clinic want to guide the patients through making lifestyle changes and taking better care of their health.

The Free Medical Clinic of DuBois was chosen by Steeple Furniture to be the July recipient of the Hometown Hope broadcasting grant, which rewards local nonprofits for their outstanding commitment to our community.

Steeple gave more than $1,000 to the clinic to help them reach even more people. Many thanks to Steeple for yet again donating to a worthy, local cause!
