Clearfield, PA – State Police in Clearfield say they’ll be conducting impaired driving enforcement with sobriety checkpoints during the month of August.

It will be taking place on roadways throughout Clearfield County, where there has been a high incidence of alcohol-related crashes.

These sobriety checkpoints will help police identify impaired drivers and keep them off of our roads.

Remember, there is never any excuse to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

If you have had anything that could impair your driving, plan on staying where you are. You can also ask a friend who hasn’t been drinking at all for a ride home, or call a taxi or an Uber, which are now available in Clearfield and Jefferson Counties.
