DuBois, PA – Gas prices in Western Pennsylvania rose by three cents this week to $2.542 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.

Almost every state in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast region saw prices increase on the week, and seven states saw significant jumps, including Pennsylvania, which is up by 5 cents.

On average, gas prices increased by 3 cents in the region on the week.

In DuBois, expect to pay about $2.54 per gallon.

The increase in price is in-line with the nearly 2-million barrel draw in gasoline stock in the region on the week, which decreased supply and increased demand for gas.
