Clearfield, PA – A Clearfield man who reportedly was found with drugs in a church parking lot recently waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

28-year-old Derrick Graham is facing felony charges of the manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, along with felony dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities and criminal use of a communication facility.

Graham was also charged with misdemeanors for intentional possession of a controlled substance and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Just before 10 p.m. on April 29, police were called out to East Seventh Street in Clearfield, where five people were reportedly smoking marijuana around a Ford Mustang in a church parking lot. Graham and another one of the males in the vehicle were on probation.

When police searched Graham, a glass pipe fell to the ground. Officers also smelled raw marijuana. Graham had two warrants out for his arrest. He was placed into handcuffs and searched.

Graham was found with two small bags of suspected marijuana, three small bags of suspected methamphetamine, a pipe, and other drug paraphernalia.

Graham also had multiple pills in a snuff can. It’s unclear if Graham had a prescription for them, but police say he admitted that he would occasionally sell or trade the pills.

He reportedly said he did so to make money to support his own drug habit. The pills were allegedly mostly Klonopin, and about five pills were Xanax.

Graham is currently free on $10,000 unsecured bail.
