Sandy Township, PA – No one was injured in a crash near a construction zone on I-80 Friday evening. Police don’t identify either driver, but they do say that the crash involved a Ford E250 and a King Aire Bus Motorhome at mile marker 102 on I-80 in Sandy Township around 6 p.m. Friday.

The vehicles were approaching a construction zone when the Ford attempted to pass the motorhome by driving on the shoulder of the road.

When the Ford reentered the roadway and braked suddenly, the motorhome was unable to stop in time. Both vehicles had minor damage and were able to be driven away from the scene.

No injuries were reported, but the driver of the Ford was cited for careless driving.
