DuBois, PA – A DuBois man is facing charges for threatening to kill two men with a gun.

30-year-old Scott Alan Hall is charged with two counts each of terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and one count of accidents involving damage to attended vehicle.

The charges stem back to an incident on July 6 in DuBois. Officers were originally called out to a home on South Church Street in DuBois for reports of a man threatening to kill two people. However, they were then told that the man had fled. They found him backing his car into a garage on Knarr Street.

The man, who was later identified as Hall, reportedly had a handgun in his waistband. Hall allegedly resisted when officers told him to place his hands behind his head, but they were eventually able to handcuff him and take the gun. They found multiple other firearms within the garage.

Hall reportedly told police that it all started when he saw a truck driving recklessly near his home. He decided to follow the truck. Hall told police that he warned the person not to drive the truck that fast.

When officers spoke with the victims, they said that Hall had showed up to their home and threatened to kill them. The victims said that Hall had pulled out a small pistol and waved it around.

Another witness said that she had heard screaming and drove her vehicle to the scene to see what was happening. She said that when Hall drove away, he struck her vehicle with his car, causing damage to one of the mirrors.

Hall is lodged in the Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 14.
