Police would like to remind you to keep your vehicles locked, even if they’re parked in your own driveway. Don’t leave anything valuable in plain sight within your car, whether or not it’s locked. If possible, park under a streetlight or as close to your home as you can.

Although nothing can completely prevent a theft, you can help discourage someone from breaking into your car by making it more difficult and less appealing.
