Henderson Township, PA – A Punxsutawney man reportedly crashed his SUV into a porch in Henderson Township, Jefferson County, after his tire blew out on Saturday.

Around 6 on Saturday morning, 30-year-old Dennis Kean of Punxsutawney was driving north of Route 119. Police say his front left tire blew out and Kean lost control of the vehicle.

He ended up striking the deck of a home in the area, along with a stone fixture attachment at the front of the home.

Kean allegedly fled from the scene without leaving any information for the property owner and without reporting the crash to the police.

He traveled about 2.6 miles on a flat tire to his aunt’s home, where she took him back to the scene.

Kean was not injured but will be cited for the crash with summary traffic citations.
