Rose Township, PA – A woman was seriously injured in a crash Friday afternoon in Rose Township, near Brookville. It happened around 1:30 Friday afternoon at the intersection of Route 28 and Snyder Road.

21-year-old Eric Wood of Canton, OH was turning left from Snyder Road onto Route 28 when he failed to yield to oncoming traffic.

48-year-old Connie Neiswonger of Fairmont City (near New Bethlehem) struck Wood’s car with her vehicle. Wood had only minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene. He’ll face traffic violation charges.

Neiswonger had moderate to serious injuries and was taken by Jefferson County EMS. She also had two passengers in her vehicle, 23-year-old Tyler Plyler of Fairmont City and an unnamed infant girl. They had minor injuries and were also taken to Penn Highlands Brookville.
