Decatur Township, PA – The search for a man who was wanted in three counties has ended after he was hospitalized after crashing during a high-speed police chase.
23-year-old Hunter Anderson was wanted in Clearfield, Centre and Clinton Counties, and police had just recently searched for him in the Wallaceton area.
Around 1 a.m. Saturday, police were alerted that Anderson was driving a blue Dodge Dakota in Decatur Township. Officers saw the vehicle and attempted to pull the truck over. However, the truck took off, which started a high-speed pursuit by police.
The chase lasted about 23 minutes, finally ended in Snyder Township, Blair County.
Anderson lost control of the truck, left the roadway and went airborne off an about 10-foot cement flood wall. The truck overturned several times, finally coming to rest in the river.
Anderson was taken to UPMC Altoona for his injuries. He’ll be arraigned on all pending warrants after being released from the hospital.
