DuBois, PA – As we get into the summer months, it’s a time to celebrate. However, for a lot of food pantries, it’s one of the toughest times of the year.

Kids who would generally get to eat at school will now have to find food at home, which some parents have trouble affording. This means that more people use the food banks and the shelves become more bare.
Plenty of people donate during the holiday months, around Thanksgiving and Christmas, but the pantries get fewer donations the rest of the year.
Consider donating to your DuBois Ministerial Food Pantry, the Salvation Army of DuBois Food Bank, or any of the many others in our area.
