Brookville, PA – A Brookville woman has been accused of producing and distributing child pornography involving two toddlers.

The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force knew about a child pornography arrest that had been made in Texas, and those photos and videos had been made in Brookville. The investigation led to 29-year-old Christine Nichols.

Nichols was arrested on Saturday for producing and distributing child pornography involving two Brookville toddlers. She faces numerous charges, including rape of child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with child, sexual abuse of children, criminal use of communication facility, corruption of minors, indecent assault, and statutory sexual assault.

Nichols was charged and lodged in the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $100,000 straight bail.

Jefferson County Children and Youth Services moved the two young children from the home to a safe location.
