Clearfield, PA – A Burnside man has waived his charges to court for allegedly threatening to kill three people. 26-year-old Thomas Paul Alan Baldinger was charged with three counts of terroristic threats and two counts of harassment.
Police were called to a home on Dec. 4 for reports that Baldinger was yelling at a woman about moving to another house. He allegedly shoved a man into her, causing her to fall and injure her leg.
The two men then began fighting, and another man showed up and pulled Balginger off of the other man.
Baldinger left the room, reportedly saying that he was going to kill everyone in the house. He went downstairs to get a knife. During that time, one man and woman locked themselves in the bedroom while the other man hid in the attic.
When Baldinger returned with a 12-inch kitchen knife, he started cutting through the door. He was able to cut a 24-inch by 24-inch square hole in the door.
When Baldinger realized that state police had been called, he hid in a shed on the property.
He was later taken into custody.
Baldinger’s bail has been set at $50,000.
